Bhaskar Pramanik presently provides overall leadership on all Microsoft assets in India and leads the company's citizenship agenda. He is an IT industry veteran with over 40 years of sales, marketing and top management experience in organizations like Oracle, Sun Microsystems, Digital Equipment India, Blue Star and NELCO. He is an active voice of the industry as a member of the Executive Council of NASSCOM and co-chair of the National Committee for IT, ITES & e-commerce at CII and has previously held leadership position at MAIT.While a student at IIT Kanpur, Bhaskar interned in 1971 at the Safedpur factory of IBM which was refurbishing 1401 computers and 024 & 029 punched card readers.
