Dr. Swami Manohar is well-known for co-inventing the Simputer during his stint at Indian Institute of Science (IISc), where he also pioneered the faculty entrepreneurship activity. He has contributed to research in VLSI architecture, computer graphics, visualization, virtual reality and CAD for rapid prototyping.
