Gopal Srinivasan is also the founder and Chairman of TVS Electronics Ltd. and TVS Capital Funds Ltd. Gopal was the Chairman of the Indian Private Equity & Venture Capital Association. He was the past Chairman of the CII Tamil Nadu State Council and CII National for Private Equity & Venture Capital. Gopal is actively involved in the promotion of Entrepreneurship as an angel investor. He is associated with Chennai Angels as well as TiE.

While a MBA student at the University of Michigan, Gopal scoped the requirements for a computer system for a business school.
