Pramod Bhasin is a pioneer of the Business Process Management industry in India. He started his career in GE where he held multiple leadership roles. In 1994He set up GE Capital in India. Subsequently, and he became the Head of GE Capital for India and Asia. Pramod founded GECIS which was later spun off from GE as Genpact. He is currently working towards building "The Skills Academy" to enhance employability, especially for people in the unorganized sector.

Pramod Bhasin first articulated his idea for GECIS to his boss in a Chennai car park.
