S. Srinivasan is a well-regarded academic and sought-after guide who was instrumental in the early stages of IT growth in India. He worked with IBM for nearly a decade and was a key enabler for many installations. Then he joined IIT Madras, where in addition to managing its computer center, he also taught courses on Operating Systems, Data Base Management and MIS. He is the President of the India Chapter of Product Development and Management Association (PDMA) and is on the board of studies of SRM University.When S.
