Som Mittal is a highly respected industry veteran who has played an active role in enabling public policy for the IT services industry. Under his leadership at NASSCOM, new initiatives such as National Digital Literacy Mission and 10K Startups were initiated. He was part of the body constituted by the Prime Minister to implement National e-Governance Plan (NeGP) and the National Integration Council.
