As IT & BT Secretary with Government of Karnataka, Vivek has contributed tremendously to the growth of IT industry and establishing Bangalore as a preferred IT destination. During his tenure, he also paved the way for setting up IT and
biotechnology institutes and transformed the annual Bangalore IT exhibition into an event of global repute for attracting IT investments into Karnataka.
